THE RAZZLE, The Bolton Theater, Directed by Will Rhys
Part of
what I loved about my years at the Play House was the wonderful variety
of parts I got to play, from Custer to Scrooge and even a demented bumblebee
of a clown like Melchior. Based on an obscure 19th Century German farce
called Einen Jux Will Er Es Machen, this madcap adaptation by Tom
Stoppard was very stageworthy. Not everybody in the audience knew how
to react to it at first, but the energy, the color, the goofy story and
the wonderful ghastly puns made this one great fun.
