This was the American premiere of this bizarre and wonderful play. Tom Oleniacz as Lord Gurney was remarkable. This was the first time, though not the last, that I played a role created by Alistair Sim.

I remember we got a "fan" letter excoriating the production for what the lady percieved to be unacceptable behavior. Her note read something like: "The first time I saw this play I was shocked and the fourth time, I decided I had to write." And we wonder why Jerry Springer prospers...
